Planning permission has been granted for the redevelopment of the former Bull site in Dagenham Village. The approved scheme will deliver 72 high-quality new homes, comprising a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, arranged across two architecturally distinctive blocks ranging from six to nine storeys.

Designed by Formation Architects, the development will feature active street frontages, generous communal gardens, children’s play areas, and landscaped green roofs, all contributing to an attractive and sustainable living environment. The scheme achieves a strong Urban Greening Factor and includes cycle storage, blue badge parking, and enhanced biodiversity through soft landscaping and tree planting.

Located at the prominent corner of Rainham Road South and Ballards Road, The Bull will play a key role in revitalising this historic part of Dagenham while providing much-needed new housing, including 35% affordable homes.
